Summer Bird was a British television special on the Royal Council of Information (RCI) Channel Four. The short movie was based on the true events of Nathan Friar and his death in Wiltshire on Hallowe'en, 1990.
His murder attributed to the legend of the Wroughton Goblin; a local folklore tale of a creature - an urban myth surprisingly traced back to the hamlets and villages of northern Wiltshire only as far as 1980.
